Randall "Randy" Henry, died suddenly Monday, August 19, 2024 in Phoenixville Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold Henry and Molly Henry nee Axsmith of Pottstown.
He is survived by his wife Sherry Henry nee Brunner, his children Kevin Henry and Amy Miskiewicz, wife of Collin Rupert, his sister Susan Saylor, wife of Randy Saylor, his nephews Gregory and Michael Saylor and his "boys", his other children, friends of Kevin who he cared for and watched grow into good men and fathers.
Randy truly lived a life that showed that not all bonds needed to be of blood, family was also who you chose. Graduated from OJ Roberts in 1978, Randy was a sports guy who liked watching Football, Baseball, and Hockey. His love of sports led him to play dek hockey at Sanatoga skating rink, and then later at Waterworld in Phoenixville for many years. During his work career, he worked in stone quarries, (crushing stone) and was always teased that he was the modern-day Fred Flintstone. More recently he worked for a concrete plant as a mechanic. He recently turned 64 and was starting to look forward to his next vacation, a bus tour that he was going to take with his wife, one they had been doing for the last several years instead of spending days at the Jersey shore in the summer like the family often did in the past. There will be a private gathering of the family in the future.
The family asked in lieu of flowers to please support your local food banks and animal shelters in your area. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc. Condolences may be offered online at www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
