Randy Austin, 49, of Lower Pottsgrove, passed away from a sudden illness on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. He was the husband of Janet L. (Manley) Austin.

He was born in Pottstown to Charles A. and E.J. (Slifer) Austin, of Perkiomenville. After graduating from Perkiomen Valley High School, he became a route salesman for Stroehmann Bread.

Among his interests, Randy was an avid Steelers and Flyers fan.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his sons: Charles Scott and Bryan Matthew, both at home; sister: Tracy Lynn Carter and her husband Tim, of Monroe, GA; very close friend and cousin, Dale Austin and wife Lori, of Royersford and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 11 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St. Royersford, PA. Officiating will be Rev. David M. Lewis. Friends may call from 10-11 AM. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.
