Obituary

Raymond J. Kother, age 66, husband of Betty A. (Ackerman) Yashura Kother, of East Pikeland Township, PA died Thursday afternoon, June 9, 2011 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Elizabeth City, NJ, he was a son of the late John and Helen (Jusko) Kother. Ray was employed as a middle school science teacher in Delaware and most recently as a delivery driver for Leffler Energy. He enjoyed time spent outdoors; hiking, scuba diving, and boating. He loved muscle cars, especially restoring his GTO. Ray had immense love for his children and grandchildren. He volunteered for many years at the Easter Seals Camp in Delaware.

Mr. Kother is survived by one son; Ryan Kother, of East Pikeland, three step-children; Susan, wife of Mark Rubin, of Morgantown, Roger, husband of Donna Yashura, of Phoenixville, Scott, husband of Colleen Yashura, of Pottstown, PA, one sister; Deborah, wife of Victor Raimo, of NJ, five grandsons, one niece and one nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Thomas W. Summers. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Raymond Kother Memorial Fund, c/o National Penn Bank, 702 S.
