Raymond G. Mitchell, of Downingtown and formerly of Royersford, passed away at Hickory House, Honey Brook , PA on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at age 90. He was the husband of Aldona T. (Dirvonas) Mitchell.

He was born in Coaldale, the son of the late George and Ursula (Galgus) Mitchell. He was a graduate of Coaldale High School . He was employed by P.P.&L. in Hauto , PA and Honeywell, King of Prussia , PA , until retiring as a supervisor in 1987.

While in Royersford, he and his family were members of Sacred Heart R.C. Church . More recently they were members of St. Joseph R.C. Church , Downingtown , PA.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters: Sylvia A. Hilborn, of Schwenksville and Mary Beth Genter, of Downingtown; four grandchildren: Debra and Ralph Hilborn and John and Emily Genter. There is also a great-grandson, Bradley Hilborn.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 10AM at Sacred Heart Church , Lewis Road and Walnut Street . Royersford , PA. Officiating will be Rev. Timothy Judge.
