Regina T. Gorman, age 97, wife of the late Jack S. Gorman, of Chester Springs, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 in the Bryn Mawr Hospital. Born on January 8, 1925 in Frackville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Emily (Shamansky) Stabinsky.

Mrs. Gorman was a graduate of Frackville High School. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Basil the Great R.C. Church in Kimberton, PA.

She learned drafting during World War II at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, and following the war, she went to work as a draftswoman at GE and Unisys. Following the war, she also modeled in Philadelphia.

An avid reader, she was intelligent and talented in many different ways. She enjoyed oil paintings, crafting, and dancing, being crowned the best Jitterbug dancer in 1946. With an incredible sense of humor, she loved the occasional glass of wine. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandson.

Mrs. Gorman is survived by four children, Jeffry J. Gorman of Ephrata, PA, Susan V.N., wife of Matthew Mondo of Ephrata, PA, Michael A. Gorman of Leola, PA, and Robert F. Gorman of Chester Springs, PA; one grandson, Jason, husband of Julianna Nitschman of Mt. Laurel, NJ; two great-granddaughters, Vivian and Nora; and one sister, Frances Prosack of Vienna, VA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at St. Basil the Great R.C. Church, 2300 Kimberton Road, Kimberton, PA on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Gary T. Pacitti. Burial will follow in the St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 10:45 am Monday at the Church.
