Obituary

Renee C. Leininger, age 52, wife of Charles W. Leininger of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 in the Reading Hospital. Born on April 1, 1971 in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of Anna (Wijtyk) Curren and the late John Curren.

Renee attended Phoenixville schools. Throughout the years, she held positions at Bachman Potato Chips in Phoenixville, Phoenixville Hospital, and Watson McDaniel in Oaks. Most importantly, however, was her time that she spent as a homemaker tending to her family. She was an avid crafter, and she enjoyed crocheting and latch hook. She loved playing bingo, listening to 60s, 70s, and 80s rock-and-roll, and watching television shows from the 1970s. A favorite pastime was being outdoors, tending to her gardens and yard.

In addition to her husband and mother, Renee is survived by four children, Christine, wife of Sean Dellaquila, Matthew Leininger, Michael Leininger, and Dylan Leininger; three grandchildren, Nina Dellaquila, Sean Dellaquila Jr., and Maci Dellaquila; two brothers, Robert Curren and Kenneth Curren; many nieces and nephews; and a large amount of extended family and close friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, John "Paulie" Curren.
