Rex D. Meacomes, age 66, husband of Barbara A. (Davis) Meacomes, of Collegeville, PA, and the late Mary Maria (Brown) Meacomes,? died Monday morning, December 3, 2007 in the Rittenhouse Pine Center, Norristown, PA.? Born in Bailey , NC, he was a son of the late Herbert and Olivia (Holmes) Meacomes.? Mr. Meacomes attended the Haggerstown Junior College, the University of Hawaii, and Ursinus College. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Navy on the west coast.? He worked for the Pennco Machinery Company in Oaks, PA for over 20 years.? He was a member of the Shopmen Iron Workers, Local union 502.? He loved his family and all of his pets over the years.???

In addition to his wife of 10 years, Mr. Meacomes is survived by; two daughters; Gwendolyn Simpkins, Roxanne Roby, four sons; Lafayette Roby, Dondi (Felicia) Roby, Sidney (Linda) Roby, Kevin Roby, one sister; Vicky Stevenson, three brothers; John, Charles, Kenneth Meacomes, 21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and three dear friends; Joe, Bobby, and Peggy.???

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Saturday morning, December 8, 2007 at 10AM.? Officiating will be the Rev. Albert S. Thompson, Jr.? Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA.?
