Obituary

Rhodri Vaughan Kamuca, of Phoenixville, died suddenly on Monday, March 1, 2010 at his home. He was 20 years old.

He was born in Phoenixville, a twin son of Juan P. and Bethan Vaughan-Kamuca. A graduate of Phoenixville High School, Rhodri was in his sophomore year at West Chester University and was also an employee of Foresta's Family Market.

Rhodri was a passionate individual whose intensity was evident in all his varied interests. He enjoyed playing guitar, cooking, rugby, spirited discussion, and hanging out with his friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his twin brother, Iestyn Vaughan Kamuca, a student at Bloomsburg University; maternal-grandparents, Thomas J. and Hazel Vaughan; paternal grandmother, Marion Kamuca; as well as beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

A celebration of Rhodri's life will be held on Thursday, March 11 at Robert Ryan Catering at Columbia Station in Phoenixville. Respects may be paid from 6 - 7pm, with a memorial gathering from 7 - 9pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rhodri Vaughan Kamuca Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Phoenixville Federal Bank and Trust.
