Richard C. "Dick" Miller, age 85, beloved husband of Elizabeth J. "Betty" (Pyle) Miller, of Phoenixville, PA entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 08, 2011 at home. Born in Altoona, PA, he was a son of the late James and Leona (Wilson) Miller.

Mr. Miller graduated from Altoona High School, class of 1943, as well as Penn State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also served his country in the United States Army and was awarded the Bronze Star for bravery during combat in WWII. . Dick retired from the aerospace division of GE in King of Prussia after 27 years of service. He was a participant and volunteer at the First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville. He enjoyed playing golf, and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. He liked to read, do yard work, and took great pride in taking care of his cars. He was an animal lover, a chocolate lover, and enjoyed spending time with children.

In addition to his wife of 63 years, Mr. Miller is survived by one son, Stephen R., husband of Jerrilyn A. Miller, of Levittown, PA; one grandson, Stephen J., husband of Amber Miller, of Yardley, PA; two brothers, John W., husband of Martha Miller, of West Chester, PA, and Robert T., husband of Margaret Miller, of State College, PA; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Raymond James "Jim" Miller; and one brother, James Miller.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his celebration of life on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville, 145 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Philadelphia Memorial Park. Officiating will be the Rev. Dave C. McCabe. Friends will be received at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Friday evening, February 11, 2011 from 7:00-8:30 PM, or at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00 AM.
