Richard L. Ford Katzenmoyer, 34, of Phoenixville, PA died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Saturday, December 19, 2009. He was the son of Ginger L. Katzenmoyer and his late adopted father Richard D. Katzenmoyer.
He proudly served and is a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he was an electronic engineer technician. He was employed by Sirkorsky Helicopters as an avionic technician. He lived life to its fullest and loved his country, family, friends and animals.
Richard's love for his family owned restaurant, Harpoon Louies, lead him to study at the Culinary Institute. With his entreprenurial spirit Richard founded a Lobster Importing Co. Richard was a member of the Republican Party and Free Masons. As an active supporter of the homeless and under privileged he frequently volunteered at homeless shelters along with teaching youth his passion for the culinary
arts.
In addition to his mother, Richard is survived by his brother Kevin D. Katzenmoyer. maternal grandmother Mary E. Cullen and paternal grandfather Frederick Ford, father Richard J. Ford, half?]sisters Sara & Jennifer Ford along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. Richard was pre?]deceased by his two brothers Brett Richard Katzenmoyer and Houston David Katzenmoyer, Grandmothers Sara J. Ford, and Isabelle Katzenmoyer and Grandfather Joseph Keller.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration Of Life service at the Calvary Chapel of Chester Springs lead by Pastor Chris Swansen, 217 Dowlin Forge Rd, Exton, PA 19341, on January 9, 2010 at 11:00 A.M.
