Richard B. Greer, age 51, husband of Kathleen D. "Kitty" (Kopistecki) Greer, of Elverson, PA, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019, at home. Born on July 3, 1968, in Pottstown, PA. He was the son of Harold and Virginia (Himes) Greer, of Elverson, PA.

Rich was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, Pottstown, PA. While in high school, he was a member of the track and field team, and later played in adult softball leagues. He was self-employed as a painting contractor for most of his career. "Rosie," as he was affectionately known by his friends, was an avid collector of baseball cards and memorabilia; and was a lifelong fan of the Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers. He also loved animals, especially his German Shepherds, Simba and Boomer.

In addition to his wife and parents, Rich is survived by his daughter, Heather N. Greer, at home; one sister, Kathy, wife of Brian Greaves of East Norriton, PA; his mother-in-law, Eleanor, wife of the late Stanley Kopistecki Sr; brother-in-law the late Stanley Kopistecki Sr; sister-in-law Teresa Kelsch; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral ceremony at the St. Peter United Church of Christ, 1920 Ridge Road, Pottstown, PA, at 10:30 am on Monday, October 21, 2019. Officiating will be the Rev. Jean DeLong Custer and Peter Detterline. Following the ceremony, burial will be held in the church cemetery.
