Richard H. "Dick" Lightcap, age 79, husband of Florence K. (Greaser) Lightcap, of Royersford, PA, peacefully passed away at his residence on Friday, May 27, 2016. Born on June 1, 1936 in Royersford, PA, he was a son of the late Thomas L. and Margaret (Griffin) Lightcap. He was a life-long resident of Royersford, graduating from the Royersford High School in 1954. Richard was a veteran of the United States Army, stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma from 1959 to 1962. He was a lifelong member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Royersford. He was last employed at Cabot Corporation, Boyertown, PA and retired in 2003. Richard also retired from B.F. Goodrich, Oaks, PA in 1986. He enjoyed his retirement winters with his wife Florence, in Sarasota, FL since 2003.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, Mr. Lightcap is survived by Four Daughters, Karen A. (Paul) Gehris of Orbisonia, PA, Kimberly M. (John) Varela of Langhorne, PA, Carol A. Lightcap of Spring City, PA, Christine E., (Michael) Herr, of Schwenksville, PA; Two Sons, R. Michael Lightcap of Douglassville, PA, Jeffrey S. (Shelly) Lightcap of Stuarts Draft, VA; Twelve Grandchildren, One Great Granddaughter, ; Sister, Elizabeth A. Payne of Claremont, NC; . Mr. Lightcap was preceded in death by Three Sisters, Margaret Hagner, Lorraine Cox, Mary Joyce Lightcap; Four Brothers, Thomas Jr., Mark, Robert and Frank.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street, Royersford, PA on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 12:30 pm. Officiating will be Rev. Peter J. DiMaria. Burial will be held in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm Thursday at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
