Richard P. Rohe Sr., 63, of Schwenksville, PA passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra L. (Chubb) Rohe.

He was born in Pottstown to Raymond and Evelyn (Stauffer) Rohe, of Limerick. Mr. Rohe was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School. He was also a Vietnam veteran serving in the Navy aboard the following ships: USS New Jersey, Claud Jones and Davidson. Mr. Rohe worked for thirty years at Doehler Jarvis until the plant closing and was more recently employed by Home Depot, Pottstown, PA.

Richard was a member of Valley Forge Baptist Temple, Collegeville, PA.

In addition to his parents and wife of thirty-seven years is his children: Richard P. Jr., husband of Angela D. Rohe, of Schwenksville and Sara R., wife of David W. Slaughter, of Pottstown; grandchildren: Aidan, Cameron, Keira and Brooklyn; brothers: Larry, husband of Edwina Rohe, of San Francisco, CA, Paul, husband of Beverly Rohe, of Pottstown, David, husband of Mary Pat, of Schwenksville, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Valley Forge Baptist Temple, 616 S. Trappe Rd. (Rt. 113) Collegeville, PA 19426. Officiating will be Pastor Scott E.
