Richard D. Thomas, age 74, husband of Vicky L. (Martin) Thomas, of Phoenixville, PA, formerly of Ponte Vedra FL, died on Tuesday evening, January 11, 2011 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Lansing, MI, he was a son of the late Fred and Mary (Burgess) Thomas. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State and Master of Hospital Administration with Distinction from the University of Michigan.. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Army. Mr. Thomas was one of the founder members of TPC at Sawgrass, Pont Vedra Beach, FL. He worked as President and CEO of Keystone Health System and then Executive Vice President for the Crozer-Keystone Health System. Mr. Thomas was a member of the RiveCrest Golf Club in Upper Providence, and the Senior Golfers of America.

In addition to his wife of 34 years, Mr. Thomas is survived by three daughters; Susan L. Thomas, of Georgia, Tracy L., wife of Blaise A. DeSanto, of Phoenixville, Kimberly D., wife of John T. Pusey, Jr., of Spring City, PA, seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Thomas was pre-deceased by one brother; David Thomas.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 11:00AM. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 6:00-7:30PM Sunday evening or from 10:00-11:00 AM, Monday morning at the funeral home.
