Richard H.B. "Dick" Wezel, age 72, husband of Elaine L. (Stauffer) Wezel, of Phoenixville, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Emmanuel and Bernice (Bach) Wezel.

Dick was a 1961 graduate of Spring-Ford High School. He worked as a heating and plumbing technician in the Royersford area for many years. He was a past Fire Chief for the Borough of Royersford, and was a member of the Masonic Organizations. Dick was a Wood Badge Leader, and enjoyed poetry and deep sea fishing.

In addition to his wife, Dick is survived by two sons, Steven J., husband of Mary Beth Wezel of Pottstown, and Gary S. Wezel of Royersford; and his mother-in-law, Millie Stauffer of Phoenixville.

Funeral services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1132, Fairfax, VA 22038, or to the American Heart Association, 625 W. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
