Obituary

Ricki Jo (Solliday) Edleman, age 60, wife of Joseph Edleman Sr. of Royersford, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 in the Phoenixville Hospital after a brief illness. Born on January 21, 1964 in the Pheonixville Hospital and grew up on Yocum Street in Oaks, PA, she was a daughter of Anne Marie Mossie Solliday of New Tripoli, PA and the late Thomas R. Solliday.

Ricki Jo attended Spring-Ford schools. She held positions throughout the years at WAI Global in Limerick, MacKissic Inc. in Parker Ford, and Butcher Block and Wilke's Pizza in Spring City. Most important to her, however, was the majority of time she spent caring for her family and her home.

Ricki Jo was a talented artist, drawing and sketching works of art and personalizing cards for family and friends. She loved being a grandmother and spending as much time with her family as she could. She followed the moon cycles and was a fan of moon and wolves artwork and keepsakes.

Ricki Jo was proud of her sobriety, and in recent years was heavily involved with AA. She would chair meetings and help as sponsors to ensure others continued on their best path.

In addition to her husband and mother, Ricki Jo is survived by two sons, Joseph Jr., husband of Leahann Edleman of Royersford, PA and Samuel, husband of Maureen Edleman of Douglassville, PA; five grandchildren, Kinleigh, Karter, Caroline, Jillian and Eloise; three siblings, Thomas P., husband of Amber Solliday of East Greenville, PA, Sheryl Lynne, wife of Jody Lowrie of Royersford, PA, and Stephen R., husband of Sharon Solliday of New Tripoli, PA; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister, Jo Marie Wells, husband of James Wells.
