Rita E. Diliberto (nee Granese) of Lansdale (formerly of Norristown) passed away peacefully on Sunday July 12, 2015 at the Gwynedd Square Nursing Center in Lansdale, PA. She was 95 years old. Born September 15, 1919 in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (nee Del Collo) Granese. Rita was a graduate of Bridgeport High School Class of 1934. She worked for many years at the family owned Diliberto's Food Store on Spruce and Willow in Norristown. Rita will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

Rita is survived by her three sons Robert C. (Patricia Paul) of King of Prussia, Dr. William C. (Elisa J. (Felecitti)) and Joseph (Sandra (Shupp)) of Oakland, CA. and her sister Eleanor (Lamar) Kilgore of Wayne. Rita was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles Diliberto, sisters Mary DeOrzio and Minnie Marinari and brothers Albert and Joseph Granese. She was a proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church located at 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA on Thursday July 16 at 10:30 am. There will be a viewing from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15 at the Boyd-Horrox-Givinish Funeral Home at 220 West Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA and from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM on July 16 at Corpus Christi preceding the funeral mass.
