Rita M. Ignatovig, 74, of Phoenixville and formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on February 27, 2012 at Seasons Hospice of Phoenixville. She was the wife of Charles W. Ignatovig, to whom she was married fifty-four years.
She was born in Philadelphia to the late Frances Leonard. After her mother's early death she was raised by her grandparents, Daniel and Marie Leonard. She attended Kensington High School and was a tweny-five year employee of Shelly's Pharmacy. After moving to Phoenixville, she worked as a bus monitor for Wolfington.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Colin C. Ignatovig and Lisa Coccia, of Phoenixville and grandson, Ryan C. Ignatovig. There is also a half-brother, William O'Donnell.
Her prayer service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main St. at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA.
