Obituary

Robert E. Barth Jr., age 54, of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at home. Born in Beaufort, SC, he was a son of Jo Rose, wife of Joseph Melchiorre of Phoenixville, PA and the late Robert E. Barth Sr.

Bob was a graduate of Phoenixville High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Villanova University, and he received his Law degree from Rutgers University. Bob worked for his own law firm, practicing in New Jersey. He grew up attending St. Ann's Catholic Church in Phoenixville. He was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers. He had a tremendous comic book collection that he started at a young age. Bob was a member of the Mike Doyle Div 4 AOH in Cinnaminson, Burlington County, NJ. He had a heart of gold, and was a loving son and brother that always remained in close contact with his family.

In addition to his mother and step-father, Bob is survived by one sister, Heather, wife of Chris McCann, and their son Christopher; a step-son, Michael Thompson; and step-siblings, Dawn, wife of Bill Richcreek, Kristin, husband of Som Edinger, Craig, husband of Huyen Edinger and their families. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Marie Barth, his step-father Franklin Edinger, his brothers Thomas C. Barth and T. Christopher Barth, and his grandparents Thomas and Loretta Kane and Edward and Rita Barth.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass in the St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. John Newns. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 9:15 am - 10:45 am in the Chapel on Tuesday morning. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Phoenixville, PA. Condolences may be offered online at www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
