Robert W. "Benji" Benjamin, age 72, husband of Paula A. (Brereton) Benjamin, of Spring City, formerly of Phoenixville, PA, died Wednesday morning, July 16, 2014 in the Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of Florence (LeFevre) Benjamin, of East Coventry Township, and the late Robert Benjamin. He was a 1950 graduate of the Downingtown High School. He worked as a driver for many years. He started his career at the Sunnyslope Dairy and West Dairies. More recently he drove for the Gross Bus Company. Mr. Benjamin was a member of the Philadelphia Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons.
In addition to his wife of 42 years, Mr. Benjamin is survived by three sons: Timothy M. of Bucktown; Jason A., of Elverson; Steven M., of Pottstown; four siblings: Richard, Ronald, Edward Benjamin, and Eileen Biddle; two grandchildren: Carlene and Jada Benjamin. Mr. Benjamin was pre-deceased by one son: David T. Benjamin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Campbell–Ennis–Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, July 21st, 2014 at 10am. Burial will be in the St. Peter's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Chester Springs, PA. Friends will be received from 9-10am Monday morning at the funeral home.
