Robert Lee Brown, 85, husband of the late Catherine A. (Lehman) Brown, of Royersford, formerly Norristown, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital. Born on January 28, 1932, he was a son of the late Idella (Fox) and John Brown.

Lovingly known as Pal or Pop, he was born in Bridgeport, but spent most of his life in Norristown until moving to Royersford in 2005. He was a graduate of Norristown High School and was employed as a shipper for Wonder Bread.

A giving man, Pop dedicated his life to his family and time spent with his grandchildren. He enjoyed camping, golfing and fishing. He loved spending time sitting on the front porch.

Pop also loved spending time at his son Mike's automotive repair shop. He enjoyed helping out and talking with customers.

Pop is survived by his son: Robert Michael, husband of Dawn Brown, of Royersford; granddaughter: Deanna Michelle Brown, of Philadelphia; and grandson: Brett Daniel Marino, of Royersford. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Edward Brown, Dolly Salamone and Elsie Clausen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:30 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Daniel Schaefer. Interment will be held privately in Wentz's U.C.C. Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:30 am Friday at the funeral home.
