Robert F. Caldwell, age 86, Husband of Rugene Caldwell of Lower Pottsgrove, formerly a 50 year resident of East Coventry, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 in the Sanatoga Court. Born on May 22, 1937, in West Chester, he was the son of the late Mary (Fulton) and Robert W. Caldwell.
A 1955 graduate of the former Spring City High School, Robert worked his way up through the ranks to become General Manager of Piersol-Pine Manufacturing in Oaks, PA. He then became a partner at Amity Industries in Douglass, PA and later a partner in Fabricated Alloy Products.
Robert was a member of many organizations, including the AMBUCS, the Optimists and the Coventryville Trout Club. In his spare time, he loved to travel to his cabin in Sullivan County for fishing, hunting and eating.
In addition to his loving wife of 65 years, Robert is survived by his sons: David Caldwell and his wife Sally, of Royersford and Craig Caldwell, of Washington Crossing; grandchildren: Kellie, Aubrey, Paul and Sarah; great-grandson: Cole; sisters: Kitty (Anne) Caldwell and Molly Scott; brother-in-law: Jesse Painter; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister: Barbara Painter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford. Officiating will be the Rev. Beth Eustis. Friends will be received from 9:30 - 11:00 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Robert's name to the Coventryville Trout Club, 1142 E. Cedarville Road, Pottstown, PA 19465.
