Robert L. Eachus, 85, of Royersford, PA died on Monday, January 17, 2011 at home. He was the husband of the late Glenna R. (Sterling) Eachus, who passed away in 2007.

He was born in Royersford to the late Ralph G. Sr. and Sara (Faust) Eachus. He was a 1944 graduate of Royersford High School and served in the Army during World War II. After returning home, he held positions as a maintenance foreman at Cann and Saul, and Teleflex respectively.

Bob was a member of the Pike Twp. Sportsmen's Association, Royersford Lodge #585, F. & A.M., and the Royersford VFW.

He is survived by his daughters: Sandra R., wife of Ronald Shingle, of Pottstown, and Linda K., wife of Wilmer "Butch" Alderfer, of Royersford, six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by an infant daughter, Kathleen Ann and brother Ralph G. Eachus Jr, who was killed in the Battle of the Bulge.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, PA at 10 AM. Calling time will be from 9 till 10:00AM. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County SPCA, Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E.
