Robert A. Engle, 61, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014, in his residence. Born at Valley Forge Army Hospital, he was a son of the late Ina (Bellamy) and Walter Engle.

Mr. Engle had been employed as an EMT for West Norriton Ambulance. He also ran with the ambulance and fire department at West End Fire Company in Phoenixville. With his love of music, Mr. Engle played the bass guitar on the local music scene. He had played and recorded with some major music artists, including Cinderella.

Mr. Engle is survived by his wife, Betty Engle, of Phoenixville; children, Aja, wife of Warren Taney, of Douglassville, Amanda Engle, of Phoenixville, Robert Sheerer, of Chester, and Adam Engle, of Phoenixville; and eleven grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday, December 12, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. Officiating will be the Rev. Dennis G. Keen.
