Robert H. Erwin, age 91, husband of Betty (Neil) Erwin, of Schwenksville, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at home. Born on January 9, 1926 in Phoenixville, PA, he was a son of the late Laurence S. and Leona (Rehberg) Erwin.

Mr. Erwin was a 1943 graduate of Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, and retired from Leeds and Northrup. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the USS PC 1084 and the USS SC 1294. He also served during the Korean War aboard the USS Pocono. Mr. Erwin was devoted to his wife and family, and he enjoyed spending time with them. He was an avid reader and wood carver, and enjoyed sailing his boat on Lake Nockamixon.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Erwin is survived by one son, Mark D., husband of Susan B. Erwin of West Grove, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at the Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be Rev. Louis P. Bellopede. Burial will be held in the St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the St. Mary Catholic Church, Schwenksville, at the address above, or to a charity of your choice.
