Obituary

Robert Paul Esposito, age 95, husband of Josephine J. (LaRosa), of Collegeville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Einstein Medical Center, East Norriton Twp., PA.

Born on September 13, 1923 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mildred (Gianonne) Esposito. He was a graduate of Bartrum High School. Mr. Esposito served in the Army during World War II, where he also pursued advanced studies. He fought at the Battle of the Bulge and also served at the end of the war in the Pacific Theatre.

Mr. Esposito worked as an Insurance Agent for Quaker City Life Insurance Company before retiring. He was a member of St. Eleanor R.C. Church, Collegeville, PA.

Bob will be remembered as a quiet, generous and kind-hearted person. A loyal and honest friend. He loved all sports, but was a Phanatical Philadelphia Phillies Phan, never missing a game. He also loved cars and music, especially Jazz and Big Band. He was interested in the stock market and finance always keeping an eye on the news. He and his wife loved working out at Anytime Fitness with their Silver Sneakers Program. One of the biggest highlights of the day was the great food prepared by his loving wife, Josephine.

Surving is a Son, Robert S. (Susan) Esposito of Danville, CA; Two Daughters, Valerie Rogers of Collegeville, PA, Andrea (Michael) Raquet of Collegeville, PA; Grandchildren: Gina Esposito, Lisa Raquet, Robert Anthony Esposito; Sister, Irene "Renee" Santore of Philadelphia, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 10:30 am. Visitation will be held from 9:45 to 10:15 AM. Burial will be held in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Assoc. or American Cancer Society. Condolences may be made by visiting www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
