Robert (Bobby) D.G. Haley of Mont Clare, PA, died suddenly while vacationing in Vancouver , Canada on Thursday, September 3, 2009. Born in Bryn Mawr , PA on January 10, 1949, he was a son of Elizabeth P. (Thomas) Haley, of Mont Clare, and the late Robert G. Haley. He attended Spring-Ford High School . Mr. Haley served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Marine Corps League and the VFW, Phoenixville, PA. He was also a member of Local 420 Steamfitters Union, and the Upper Providence Planning Commission.
Mr. Haley is survived by his paternal grandmother; Luella Haley, of Washington D.C., four sisters; Cheryl (Sidney) Carter, Juanita (Ronald) Cody, Denise Haley, Blanche (Wesley) Snider, two brothers; Ronald Haley, and Alex (Lynda) Haley. He married Carolyn Casper in 1975, and has a stepdaughter, Elizabeth (Marc) Lattanzi, and stepson, Thomas Casper. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue , Phoenixville , PA on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 11:00 am. Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick , PA. Friends will be received from 9:00-10:45 am, Monday morning at the funeral home.
