Robert (Bob) William Hartman

The Phoenixville New Year's Baby of 1946, Bob lived his entire life in the Phoenixville area. He was a graduate of Phoenixville High School Class of 1964.
He is preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Woodrow Hartman and sister Judith Hartman. He is survived by son Michael (Laura) Hartman of Maryland; daughter Shari (Hartman) Shively of Pottstown; brother Bruce (Katherine) Hartman of Phoenxiville; Grandchildren Anastasia and Alexander Hartman of Maryland; Cousin George Kulp III of Phoenixville; and spouse of 33 years Lynn Pike Hartman.
Bob previously worked at Bevan Construction, Robert's Meat Packing Co., Haley Heating & Air Conditioning, AmeriGas Propane, and USA Technologies. Bob was a Pennsylvania Hunter Safety Education Instructor for 30 years at the Kimberton Fish & Game Association. He was a sportsman, a conservationist, a voracious reader, and a history scholar. His passion was his beloved Camp Harbor, trains - real life & Lionel, Christmas, fireworks and later in life, Halloween. He loved sharing his trains during the holiday season, decorating the Christmas tree and loved scaring people of all ages, Halloween night.
Bob fought a valiant 10-year battle with Parkinson's Disease which would not be denied. Many joined the fight: Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, The Acute Rehab at Phoenixville Hospital, Tower Health at Home Rehab and later Hospice Care, and the Sanatoga Center Transitional Unit.
