Robert E. High, age 90, husband of Virginia "Ginny" (Pennypacker) High, of Pottstown, PA, died Monday, January 30, 2017 in the Ephrata Manor, Ephrata, PA. Born on June 1, 1926 in Gilbertsville, PA, he was a son of the late Norman and Worda (Erb) High. He was a graduate of Spring City High School. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Army Air Corps. Mr. High worked as a Dyer for the Spring City Bleach and Dye Works and the Ches-mont and Gary's Carpet Depot. He attended the Parker Ford Church.

Mr. High is survived by Four Daughters, Barbara (David) Witwer of Oro Valley, AZ, Robin Romig of Kenmore, WA, Linda (Dr. Richard) Manning of Harrisburg, PA, Penny (John, IV) Lewis of Brandamore, PA; Son, Thomas (Barbara) High of Stevens, PA; Twelve Grandchildren, Twelve; Great-Grandchildren. Mr. High was pre-deceased by infant grandson, Collin Manning and Brother, Carl High.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Parker Ford Church, 20 Rinehart Road, Pottstown, PA 19465 on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Friends will be received from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Sunday at the Church. Burial will be held privately in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Parker Ford, PA.
