Robert F. Keane, age 68, husband of Marilee J. (Hawkins) Keane, of Collegeville, PA, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 in his home. Born on May 15, 1948 in Boston, MA, he was a son of the late Richard and Charlotte (Garrett) Keane. He was a graduate of Wahconah Regional High School in Dalton, MA and the St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH. A career reserve officer, Mr. Keane served for the U.S. Army from 1970-2001. Mr. Keane worked as a Vice President for Harleysville Insurance Company before retiring in 2006.

In addition to his wife of 46 years, Mr. Keane is survived by Two Daughters, Marybeth K., wife of Timothy Kurek of Trappe, PA, Julianne K., wife of Patrick Cyr of Upper Providence, PA; Six Grandchildren: Meredith, Matthew, Lauren, Dylan, Justin and Benjamin; Two Brothers; Four Sisters; and many other family and friends. Mr. Keane was pre-deceased by One Brother, Richard Keane.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473 on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 11:00 am. Burial will be held privately. Friends will be received from 9:00 am - 10:45 am Wednesday at the Church. Contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
