Robert A. McGinley Jr., age 74, of Spring City, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in the Pottstown Hospital. Born on February 9, 1947 in Lansdale, PA, he was a son of the late Robert A. Sr. and Grace I. (Krause) McGinley.

Bob worked as a contractor for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren at his camp in Potter County. He enjoyed hunting, especially with his beloved beagle Bobby Jo who has since passed, as well as fishing.

Bob is survived by his two daughters, Ashley G., wife of James Matteson of Coudersport, PA, Chelsey J., wife of Cody Bova of Coudersport, PA and their mother Janet Setzer, along with her children Casey Pekarski and Tonya Gail; six grandchildren, Connor, Austyn, and Gavyn Matteson, Blane Darush, Christian Bova, and Gracelee Bova; two sisters, Judith M., wife of Warren Hampton of Las Vegas, NV and Barbara L., wife of Howard Murphy of Reading, PA; two sisters-in-law, Carol L., wife of the late Richard C. McGinley of Pottstown, PA and Rosemary, wife of the late Jacob C. McGinley of Kulpsmont, PA; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tamara McGinley.
