Robert J. Mehalick, age 69, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Exton Post Acute, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 29, 1957, in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Elizabeth M. (Timko) Mehalick.
A 1975 graduate of West Hazleton High School, Bob began his career with WAGO Corporation in an entry-level position when the company was in its infancy. He took great pride in helping the company grow into an international organization and retired as Industry Manager.
Bob was a devoted Philadelphia sports and Penn State fan who loved watching his sons play sports while they were growing up. He also enjoyed international travel and was an avid golfer, spending countless days at Downingtown Country Club.
Bob cherished time spent at The Office, The Pour House, and other local establishments, where he enjoyed great conversations with friends. Blessed with the gift of gab, he never met a stranger and was well known for his warm, outgoing personality throughout the Malvern area.
Bob is survived by his sons, Collin R. Mehalick and Justin T. Mehalick; his brother, Thomas E. (Anne) Mehalick; his sister, Lori J. (Jeff) Simpkins; the mother of his sons, Dawn Mehalick; his niece, Perri Simpkins; and his nephews, Kevin Mehalick (Terri), Brian Mehalick, Nathan Simpkins, and Nicholas Simpkins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. Officiating will be Jay McDaniel. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the Colon Cancer Coalition or First Tee.
