Obituary

Robert W. Miller Jr., 58, of Royersford, passed away Thursday, Feb. 23, at home after a brief illness. He was the husband of Sharon (Egolf) Miller, with whom he shared 36 years of marriage.
Born in Pottstown, he is a son of Robert W. Sr. and Jane (Hunsberger) Miller, of Red Hill.

He was a 1971 graduate of Spring-Ford Area High School.
Bob was employed by Diamond Glass for 17 years, where he worked as an upkeep man, then was employed as a maintenance mechanic for 16 years by the Meadowood Corporation in Worcester.

He was a member of First United Church of Christ in Royersford, where he was a past member of the Consistory and helped with the maintenance of the church. He was a member of both the Stichter Masonic Lodge #254 and the Reading Consistory.
"Bob" to his wife, family, and friends, "Daddy" to his beloved daughters, and "Pop-Pop" to his three grandchildren, he was most of all a family man. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, playing with Daisy the family dog, and loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Bob is survived by three daughters, Shannon, wife of David Stahler of North Wales; Rochelle, wife of Michael Weidman of Vermont; and BethAnn, wife of Andrew Stugis of Red Hill; three grandchildren, Ray and Lucas Stahler and Chloe Stugis; one sister, Bonnie Haus of Langhorne; three nieces and two nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the First United Church of Christ, 367 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 10:30 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Katherine E. Davidheiser. Friends will be received at the church from 9:00-10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the First United Church of Christ at the address above. Additional parking will be available across from the church at the Royersford Elementary School. Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA is in charge of arrangements.
