Robert J. Noll, age 89, of Phoenixville, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 in Sanatoga Center. Born on February 22, 1933 in Reading, he was a son of the late Effie (Miller) and Russell H. Noll.

A 1951 graduate of Reading Senior High School, Bob served honorably in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Tarawa during the Korean War. He had been employed as a service manager for ATandT until his retirement in 1988. Throughout Bob's life, he was an avid dancer, entered many dance contests and especially enjoyed the jitterbug.

Bob was an active member of St. John's U.C.C. in Phoenixville, where he had previously served as Treasurer and helped run the youth group. He was a member of the Phoenixville American Legion Post #482, Phoenixville VFW Post #1564 and West End Fire Co. #3. Bob was a volunteer with the Kiwanis Club of Phoenixville, Phoenixville Hospital, Meals on Wheels, and was a tremendous volunteer and former Board Member of Phoenix Homes.

With all of Bob's volunteerism, there were a few things that he was especially proud of. He was instrumental in the naming of The Flag House in Spring City and the Veteran's Memorial Bridge (Gay Street Bridge) in Phoenixville and was a past recipient of a Champion of the Community Award in Phoenixville. A road was named "Bob Noll Way" in the Steeltown Village in Phoenixville to Honor Bob's contributions to Phoenix Homes.

Bob is survived by his children: Russell F. Noll, of Pottstown, Barbara A. Oxenford Noll, of Pottstown, Beverly J., wife of Harry Kerch, of Allentown and Richard Derby, of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren: Tyler, Trevor, Craig, Noelle, Cody, Harrison, Dawson and Palmer; four great-grandchildren: Sterling, Craig III, Cole and Clayden; brother, Melvin R. Noll, of SC; and former spouse: Doris Dorsey of Allentown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Doris M. Kline.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday, September 12, 2022, at 11:00 am, at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. Officiating will be the Rev. Raymond J. Jachowski. Interment will follow in the Alsace Cemetery, Reading. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to the St. John's UCC Memorial Fund, 315 Gay Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
