Robert P. Oberholtzer Sr., age 94, loving husband of the late Joyce E. (Harris) Oberholtzer, of Spring City, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 in the Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on December 16, 1925 in Royersford, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Kenneth F. and Mildred (Carl) Oberholtzer. Mr. Oberholtzer was a devoted member of the Parker Ford Church and would attend whenever he had the opportunity. Mr. Oberholtzer also served his country proudly in the Army Air Corp. during WWII. During his career Mr. Oberholtzer worked for Jones Motor Co., Herr Nicholas Accounting, and would retire from Scout Trucking Company. Mr. Oberholtzer is survived by his one son, Alan (Renay) Oberholtzer; One daughter in law, Sandra Oberholtzer; Three grandchildren, Melissa (Arthur) Cancro, Joy (Matthew) Reszek, and Robert W. (Samantha) Oberholtzer; Five great grandchildren; and Five nephews. In addition to his parents and loving wife, Mr. Oberholtzer was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Oberholtzer; his son, Robert Oberholtzer, Jr; And two siblings, Nancy Grebe, and Kenneth F. Oberholtzer, Jr. Services for Mr. Oberholtzer will be held at the Parkerford Church, 20 Rinehart Rd. Pottstown PA, 19465, at a later date. Please feel free to check for updated service information.
