Robert "Bob" Navas Page, age 95, of Oakhurst, NJ, husband of the late Mindy (Bertram) Page, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on Friday, June 28, 2024 in Phoenixville, PA at Brandywine Living at Upper Providence. Born on October 5, 1928 in Scranton, PA, he was a son of the late Don Jose and Alice (Hanin) Navas.
Bob was a graduate of Scranton High School. He completed his undergraduate studies in music and education at Ithaca University and received his master's degree in music from the University of New Hampshire.
Bob was a talented and gifted pianist and educator. He began his career as a teacher in Bradley Beach, NJ. He then pivoted to a full-time career in music. He worked for society band leaders Peter Duchin and Lester Lanin in New York. Bob spent his professional music career traveling the globe playing for clients such as actors, politicians, and other various celebrities including the wedding of the then Prince Charles and the late Lady Diana's and several US President's inaugural parties at the White House. He also proudly led the Bob Page Trio throughout NJ. Bob had a love for horses, travel, and the time he spent with his family.
Bob is survived by two sons, Jeffrey, husband of Ruthann Page and Eric, husband of Jill Page; three step-children, Leslie, wife of Bob Crane, Michael Bertram, and David Bertram; and three grandchildren, Andrew, Morgan, and Tyler as well as one step grandchild, Meghan.
A celebration of life service will take place at the Fiore-Buckley Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township, NJ 07755 on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow the service to celebrate Bob's life. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Phoenixville, PA.
