Robert A. Roncase, Sr., age 80, husband of Elaine C. (Harvey) Roncase, of Phoenixville, died Friday afternoon, February 5, 2010 in the Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, PA. Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Armand and Mary (Vontor) Roncase. He was a 1948 graduate of the Phoenixville High School. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Roncase was a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Phoenixville all of his life. He was also a member of the Phoenixville V.F.W, the American Legion, and the Hungarian Club.

In addition to his wife of 55 years, Mr. Roncase is survived by Three Children; Rev. Robert A. Roncase, of Pennsburg, PA, Gwenn Anne Roncase, of Phoenixville, Jo Marie, wife of Kenneth J. Smith, of Phoenixville, Two Brothers; Silvio and Raymond Roncase, Two Grandchildren; Nathaniel and Joel Smith, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 148 Church Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Thursday evening, February 11, 2010 at 8:00 PM. Officiating will be his son, Rev. Robert A. Roncase. Burial will be held in the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Phoenixville on Friday at 11:00 AM. Friends will be received from 6:00 - 7:45 PM, Thursday evening at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the St. Philip Neri Building Fund, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073. Mass cards will also be accepted.
