Rodney R. Farris, husband of the late Nancy J. Farris, of Boyertown, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at home. Born in Middletown, OH, he was a son of Linda (Dennis) Farris of Middletown, OH and the late Virgil Farris.

Mr. Farris graduated from Middletown High School. Following graduation, he immediately joined the United States Air Force, where he traveled the world extensively as an aircraft mechanic. After being honorably discharged, he returned home and obtained his certification as a helicopter mechanic in Allentown, PA. He worked for Medivac Helicopters, Keystone Helicopters, and most recently Sikorsky Helicopters at the Chester County Airport. Mr. Farris was an avid guitar player, and enjoyed Harley motorcycles and fishing.

Mr. Farris is survived by two children, Jessica A., wife of Gary Stevens of Mantua, NJ and Ryan R. Farris of Sacramento, CA; two sisters, Pamela, wife of Lee Jenkins of Middletown, OH and Sandy, wife of Kerry Roberts of LaPorte, TX; one brother, Mark, husband of Christine Farris of Middletown, OH; one grandson, Henry Stevens; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, P.O.
