Obituary

Ron Yeager, 74, husband of Lois L. (Wolf) Yeager, of Royersford, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010, in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Spring City, he was a son of the late Charles R. Sr. and Pearl (Christman) Yeager.

Ron owned Chesmont Auto Refinishing in Spring City from 1966-1997. He enjoyed all auto racing. He was a Past President of Phoenixville Quarter Midget Club and worked at local racetracks including Grandview, Hatfield, and Sanatoga Speedways pushing racecars to help them get started. He also enjoyed traveling, especially family trips to Disney World.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Yeager is survived by one daughter, Ronda wife of Brad Imes of Perkiomenville, one son, Allan Yeager of Royersford, one sister, Diane Berry of Birdsboro, and two granddaughters, Gwendolyn and Meredith. He was preceded in death by one sister, Myrtle Jenkins and brother, Kenny Yeager.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, on Friday, March 5, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul H. Neff. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Pottstown. Friends will be received from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
