Ronald E. Kollar, age 74, husband of Carol Ann (Bearer) Kollar, of Royersford, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born on June 26, 1942 in Colver, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Paul and Bertha (Shepler) Kollar. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Army. Ron worked for many years at BF Goodrich Oaks, PA until the plant closed.

Ron loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He was proud of his borough of Royersford. He loved hunting, fishing, and Penn State Football. He volunteered as a coach for his sons' baseball teams at SFYAL and was also a member Friendship Fire Company and LaSalle Social Club.

In addition to his wife of 50 years, he is survived by three sons: Ronald Drew, husband of Nicole Kollar of Easton; Douglas T., husband of Kimberly Kollar of Spring City, PA; and Jeffrey A., husband of Elena Kollar of East Coventry, PA; ten grandchildren: Matthew, Bryce, Madeline, Kennedy, Aiden, Bailey, Jayden, Brooklyn, Grant, and Ella; siblings: Paul, Howard, Donald, Peg, and Frances; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Kollar was pre-deceased by brothers: Robert and Bernard.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 3:00 pm. Burial will be held in private. Friends will be received from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Sunday at funeral home. Contributions may be made to Southeastern Veterans' Center Resident Welfare Fund.
