Ronald J. Kulp, age 81, husband of Marlyn L. (Taglieber) Kulp, of Uwchland, PA, died Friday evening, February 22, 2013 in the Pembrooke Nursing Home, West Chester, PA. Born in Glenmoore, PA, he was a son of the late Luther C., and Edna M. (Whitwam) Kulp. Mr. Kulp attended the Warwick School. A veteran, he served for the U. S. Army. He worked for over 35 years at the Columbia Gas Company. He was a member of the Downingtown Dart League and the Patriotic Order Sons of America, Camp 298, Chester Springs for over 43 years. An avid hunter, Mr. Kulp enjoyed the 60 years he spent in the Hilltop Hunting Club in Bradford County.
In addition to his wife of 58 years, Mr. Kulp is survived by one son: R. Thomas, husband of Sharon (Phillips) Kulp, of Nottingham, PA; two brothers: Luther L., husband of Marian Kulp, of Carlisle, PA; John W., husband of Fay Kulp, of Pottstown, PA; two grandchildren: Melissa Brooks, John Kulp; two great-grandchildren: Kelsey Lynn Brooks, Austin Thomas Brooks; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Eric D. Ressler. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, Tuesday morning at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the Nantmeal United Methodist Church, 359 Nantmeal Road, Glenmoore, PA 19343.
