Ronald A. Schwindt, formerly of Limerick, passed away at his Villa at Morlatton home on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at age 77. He was the widower of Nancy J. (Urban) Schwindt.

He was born in Lincoln, NE to the late Alex and Marie (Weigandt) Schwindt. After graduating from Lincoln High School, Ron served aboard the USS Navarro and USS Norfolk during the Korean War. He was employed by the US Postal Service as a carrier in the Pottstown Office until retiring.

Ronald was a member of St. James U.C.C. Limerick, PA. He was also a lifetime member at Limerick Fire Company serving on the Fire Police.
He is survived by a daughter, Catherine M. wife of Keith Cotton, of Woodinville, WA and son, Robert A. husband of Laurel (Hardy) Schwindt, of Oley; brothers: Roger, husband of Charlotte, of Lincoln, NE and Richard husband of Sheli , of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah A. Fenyus.

His funeral service will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 11 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, PA. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories. Visitation is on Sunday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and Monday morning from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.
