Ronald R. Wilkins, age 92, husband of Audrey (Page) Wilkins, of Royersford, PA, died Thursday morning, June 23, 2016 in his home with his wife by his side. Born on September 19, 1923 in Bath, England, he was a son of the late Albert and Annie (Smith) Wilkins. A veteran of World War II, he served for the British Royal Navy on the H.M.S. Exmoor, L-08 destroyer from 1943 - 1946 on the Italian campaign. A carpenter by trade, Mr. Wilkins worked for the Bonnie Brae Auction in Spring City and Morgan Mayflower moving and storage in Pottstown until his retirement. He loved ballroom dancing, enjoyed playing cards, gardening and traveling with his wife.
In addition to his wife with whom he shared the last 45 years with, Mr. Wilkins is survived by Daughter, Deborah T. Mullane, companion of Mr. Robin Gilmore; Son, Stephen D. Mumford, and wife Robin; Four Grandchildren, Martin, Anthony, Eric, Jesse; Seven Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Myrtle "Dinky"; Brother, Dennis; Mr. Wilkins was pre-deceased by Daughter, Karen E. Wilkins and Five Siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at New Hanover United Methodist Church, 2211 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville, PA 19525 on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11:00 am. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 9:15 am - 10:45 am Saturday at the Church.
