Rosalie Pharoah, 70, widow of Harley E. Pharoah, of Collegeville, PA, was called to rest on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, after a battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born in Phoenixville, on April 11, 1940, she was a daughter of the late James and Lena Tartaglia. Rosalie attended Phoenixville High School.

Rosalie was a founding member of the Phoenixville Seventh-Day Adventist Mission Church, and an active volunteer for the Fairview Community Center. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and enjoyed being at the 1980 World Series to watch her favorite team win.

Her caring enthusiasm and zest for life will always be remembered by her many, many friends. She was always smiling and happy, and was a warm and loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and encourager.

Rosalie is survived by her loving children, Patricia Engle, of Phoenixville, Vicki Hakun, of Birchrunville, Jacqueline Kidd, of Georgia, and Christine McGuinness, of Pottstown. She was a treasured grandmother to Melanie McArthur, Nicholas and Clayton Hakun, Catrina and Charles Kidd, Garrett and Harley McGuinness, and a great grandmother of Jordan Martin. She is also survived by her sisters Jeanne Toth and Linda Etzel, and her brother Daniel Tartaglia.

A funeral service will be held at Fairview Village Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1010 Kriebel Mill Road, Fairview Village, on Friday, October 29, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Pastor Buddy Goodwin. Interment will follow in the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer. Friends will be received from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, on Thursday evening.
