Rose M. Trego, 74, of Spring City, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Phoenixville Hospital after a recent illness. She was the widow of Ralph G. Trego Jr. who passed away in June 2005.

She was born in Phoenixville to the late Michael J. and Cora (Detwiler) O'Connell and was a 1953 graduate of Phoenixville High School. Mrs. Trego worked as a receptionist at Pennhurst as well as a hostess at O'Grady's and the Butcher Block respectively.
Rose was a member of the Liberty Fire Ladies Auxiliary and also served as radio operator.

She is survived by her children: Denise M. Bliss and husband Keith W., of Spring City, Cynthia A. Trego and companion Armando D. Foster, of Spring City, Michelle E. Chapman and husband Jeffrey S. Sr., of Royersford, Ralph G. Trego III and wife Jacqueline L., of Spring City and John A. Trego Sr. and wife Cynthia R., of Spring City; a sister, Lillian Bach and husband Frank, of Delaware; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James M. "Okie" O'Connell.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Townsend. Burial will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories. Visitation will be Thursday evening at the funeral home from 7-8:30 PM and Friday morning from 10-10:30 AM.
