Rose M. West, 78

Rose M. (D'Angelo) West, 78, widow of William J. West Jr., and long time companion of Mike Strunack, died on Monday, January 12, 2009 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Bryn Mawr PA, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Adelaide (Caccia) D'Angelo

She was a 1948 graduate of Lower Merion High School, and a member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church. She retired as the Supervisor of the Linen Service in 1995 from the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center where she was employed for 22 years. She had also been employed by Bause Landry Catering, Jaffe's Halfway House Restaurant, and presently at the Limerick Diner.

Mrs. West is survived by her companion Mike Strunack with whom she resided, two daughters, Marion West Ricketts of Pottstown and Jacqueline Costello of Royersford,
two sons, William J. West III, and Gregory West of North Carolina, and a grandson Zachary West-Ricketts who was the light of her life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, January 16, 2009, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 214 N. Hanover St. Pottstown, the Rev. Angelo Hernandez will officiate. Burial will be in the Pottstown Cemetery.
