Roslyn (Sheck) Cohen, age 89, wife of the late Dr. David Cohen, of Phoenixville, PA, formerly East Fallowfield Township, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she was a daughter of the late Morris and Anna (Diamond) Sheck.

Mrs. Cohen was a former member of the Sisterhood and Hadassah at Beth Israel Congregation. She was a member of T.O.P.S. in Coatesville, and she previously volunteered for the Jewish VFW at the Coatesville VA Hospital. She loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Cohen is survived by two children, Deborah C. Cohen of Phoenixville, PA, and Martin A., husband of Susan Cohen of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Norman Sheck.

Graveside services will be held at the Beth Israel Cemetery, Waterworks Road, Coatesville, PA on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rabbi Michael Charney. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Phoenixville Cancer Center, 824 Main Street, Suite 101, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
