Russell B. Ewing, age 94, husband of the late Betty M. (Scholl) Ewing, of Linfield, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026 in the Pottstown Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pottstown, PA. Born on November 19, 1931 in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Russell and Mary Agnes (Bliss) Ewing.

Mr. Ewing honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean War, serving overseas for more than a year and earning the Korean Service Medal and the Bronze Service Star.

Mr. Ewing began his career working at Spring City Bleach & Dye for 26 years. After their closure, he went on to work for the Valley Forge Flag in Spring City and Womeldorf, where he would retire from.

Mr. Ewing was an avid outdoorsman, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was proud of his flower gardens that he planted and tended to, and he could oftentimes be found working on a woodworking project.

Mr. Ewing is survived by one daughter, Linda F. Ewing, companion of Dale Robert Platt; one granddaughter, Tracy Tobias; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Paige. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol M. Klick,
