Russell A. Gottshall, age 79, husband of Linda G. (Miller) Gottshall, of Royersford, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born on April 4, 1943 in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late Frank and Aletha (Headman) Gottshall.

Mr. Gottshall attended Spring-Ford schools. He worked as an auto mechanic for most of his career, but also held positions at Jones Motor Group and Roberts Meat Packing Company. He loved cars, especially his antique cars. He enjoyed racing at Maple Grove Raceway and attending the races at Grandview Speedway. He was an avid Nascar fan, and looked forward to attending car shows, especially in Macungie and Carlisle. Mr. Gottshall also enjoyed deep sea fishing with his children, and would form his own fishing weights.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Gottshall is survived by two daughters, Karen L. Medaglia of Pottstown, PA and Lori A. Rubendall of Eagleville, PA; two grandsons, Chris, husband of Kacy Rubendall and Matthew Rubendall; one great-grandson, Branson Rubendall; and three nieces. He was preceded in death by one sister, Sandy Marquardt.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service at the Parker Ford Baptist Church Cemetery, 92 Baptist Church Road, Parker Ford, PA on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11:00 am.
