Russell P. Funderwhite Jr., 61, of Collegeville, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015, in ManorCare, King of Prussia. Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of Dorothy B. (Bard) Funderwhite, of Royersford and the late Russell P. Funderwhite Sr.

Russell was a 1972 graduate of Spring-Ford High School. He had a love of farming and gardening, planted corn and hay, and was the owner of Russell’s Farm Stand on Longford Road.

In addition to his mother, Russell is survived by his sisters, Deborah A., wife of Patrick Connor, of Royersford and Cathy M. Funderwhite, of Lancaster; nieces and nephews, Joseph Rupert Jr., Brian Rupert, Jennifer Grimm, Sarah Roberts and Kimberly Snader; and great nieces and nephews, Harrison Rupert, Lauren and Dylan Grimm, and Elias and Norah Roberts. He preceded in death by a sister, Carol Snader.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 11 am at Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Road, Oaks, PA 19456. Officiating will be the Rev. David A. Leiter. Friends will be received from 9:30-10:45 am.
